BMX
Prepare to be amazed as Crazy Stylez Riding brings their high-energy Flatland BMX demonstrations and interactive workshops to the 1770 Festival this May!
Festival Goers can catch the live demos on Saturday, 24 May 2025, and then jump on a bike themselves during Sunday’s all-day workshops on 25 May. Whether you’re a first-timer or an aspiring pro, this is your chance to learn the tricks of the trade from one of the best.
Crazy Stylez Riding is a Flatland BMX coaching program based right here in Agnes Water, created by long-time rider and coach Lee Kirkman, in partnership with Stylez Surf School. While the vision and passion behind Crazy Stylez Riding is deeply personal to Lee, it proudly falls under the broader Stylez culture—a shared commitment to creativity, individuality, and lifestyle sports.
Flatland BMX is a freestyle discipline performed on flat ground, often described as “breakdancing on a bike”. It blends balance, flow, and bike control to create a unique and expressive riding style. For Lee, it’s more than a sport—it’s a form of self-expression.
Demonstrations: Saturday, 24 May 2025
Workshops: Sunday, 25 May 2025 – All day, walk-in
