Boyne Burnett Inland Rail Trail Cycling Weekend

The event is based at the Golembil Siding in the stunning Boyne Valley showcasing the Boyne Burnett Inland Rail Trail’s views and historical railway tunnels.

ITINERARY 

Friday 3 May 

• Arrive to set up camp
• Event welcome and dinner under the stars
• • Mountain bike ride on unsealed roads (mountain bike required; no single track)

    • Choose from 4 tour options – do some or do them all!
      • Tour 1: Take a tunnel tour from our base camp in Golembil with an easy climb up to Barrimoon returning back to camp (22km).
      • Tour 2: Feeling less energetic? Why not take the shuttle service to the top of the range at Barrimoon and enjoy the views and ride through the tunnels all the way back down to Golembil camp (11km of riding).
      • Tour 3: Need a great workout? Ride the full Dawes Range Experience from Golembil to Builyan, returning back through Golembil up through the tunnels to Barrimoon then returning to base camp (52km or 30km option).
      • Tour 4: Take a historical tour from our base camp in Golembil into the Dawes National Park to see the Glassford Copper Smelter Site and return to camp (26km).
    • Catering inclusions: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
