How to get here

The towns of Agnes Water &1770 are located in the Gladstone Region at the Southern end of the Great Barrier Reef. Just 90 minutes North of Bundaberg and 90 minutes South of Gladstone.

While we have our own airstrip, unless you have your own plane you’ll need to pick one of the options below to come and enjoy an unforgettable time in what we refer to as paradise on earth.

Fly

When flying to the Discovery Coast, the closest airports to Agnes Water and Town of 1770 are Gladstone and Bundaberg. Most flights to both airports operate via Brisbane, offering scenic coastal views along the way.

Once you arrive in Gladstone or Bundaberg, you can arrange onward transport by hire car or pre-book a transfer with the local taxi and shuttle service.

Train

Jump on the Tilt Train or the Spirit of Queensland, running between Brisbane and Cairns 7 days as week.  

Miriam Vale is the closest train station from Agnes Water, 54.7km or 40 min. Other options are Bundaberg or Gladstone.
