Kids and adults alike will be able to experience pottery with Tobias and Tamara from Kaolin and Coal.
Kids Clay workshops
This workshop is designed for children and is held over two sessions delivered on the same day. Cost $22 per child.
Session One is to sculpt and make a native animal from our local area with sun-dry clay.
Sessions Two, children will paint their previously made sculpture to take home with them. The workshop is non-toxic.
Adults Raku Glazing and Fire Demonstration
This workshop is designed as a low skills hand on demonstration of low fire pottery using the Raku method. Participants will glaze a pre-made bowl or object and watch it being wood fired using the Raku kiln. You will take home the bowl or object you have glazed. Cost is $22 per adult
