This is a fantastic workshop at our air-conditioned Art Space to escape the midday heat and create something truly unique!
There is something very peaceful about creating a unipiece of fibre art from wool…felting is like magic!
In this 3h workshop you will learn the basic steps involved in wet felting and create a beautiful wall hanging. We’ll mount your creation on a piece of driftwood with vegetable dyed hemp, ready for you to take home and hang on a wall.
All materials will be provided but you’re very welcome to bring your own piece of driftwood (a stick no longer than 30cm) and I’d like to encourage everyone to bring a few little beach or bush treasures ( tiny shells with a hole, a small feather,…) to embellish your piece of fibre art and make it a very unique and personal keepsake.
Please wear comfortable clothing. Short sleeves are recommended.
